NYSenate.gov RSS Overview

A feed of the most recently-added NY Senate content is available at http://www.nysenate.gov/rss.

Feeds are available for each individual Senator at "http://www.nysenate.gov/senator/%1/content/feed", where %1 = the Senator's name. Examples:

For the individual Senator feeds listed above, the same results can be obtained by entering the Senator's name in standard upper-and-lower-case words with punctuation as in the examples above, or you can enter the name as an all lowercase version with no punctuation and using hyphens in place of space characters. Examples:

A feed is available for the "featured video" on each senator's home page at "http://www.nysenate.gov/senator/%1/front_video/rss", where %1 = the Senator's name. Examples:

A feed of events for each committee is available at "http://www.nysenate.gov/committee/%1/events/%2/rss" where %1 is the name of the committee and %2 is the date range specifier. The date range specifier should consist of a four-digit number for the year, optionally followed by a hyphen and a two-digit number for the month. Examples:

Syndicate content

Feeds of recent content for individual senators, limited to a specific content type, are available at "http://www.nysenate.gov/senator/%1/newsroom/%2/rss" where %1 is the name of the senator, and %2 is the name of the content type. Available content types are: blog, poll, campaign, event, in_the_news, page, photo, press_release, report, story, testimony, video and webform. Note: The "campaign" content type refers to a senator's advocacy on behalf of an issue such as tax reform or green jobs. It does not refer to electoral campaigns. Also, the "story" content type refers to "constituent stories" honoring individual constituents who live in the senator's district. Examples:
