A new series entitled “Government Unplugged” will bring our region’s young elected officials together with our top young professionals beginning on Thursday, December 1.
Launched by Buffalo Niagara 360, the series will feature representation from more than 2,500 young business professionals at different industries and career levels throughout Buffalo Niagara.
The Dec. 1 event is scheduled to run from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Hodgson Russ, located inside of the Guaranty Building at 140 Pearl Street (Suite 100) in the City of Buffalo.
The BN360 program provides leadership programming, business networking and community involvement innitiatives to thousands of our region’s dynamic young leaders.
Government Unplugged is designed to make young professionals more conscientious voters and encourage their community involvement. Our goal is to make our guests more educated about the political process and leadership opportunities in the community.
As one of the featured government officials, Senator Grisanti will be introduced to a small group of between 20 to 30 young professionals and interviewed by Gary Schober, the president and chief executive officer of Hodgson Russ LLP.
Senator Grisanti’s interview will last approximately 40 minutes and will end with a set of 10 distinct questions that will be intended to let the audience get to know the senator on a more personal level.
Featured officials may be asked questions about their lives, education, and public careers. After the interview, Gary will open the floor to 30 minutes of questions from guests. The remainder of the evening will be dedicated to networking with young professionals.
