S.4444-B, Permitting Temporary COs to be Issued to Partially Completed Condos Expected on Floor Today

S.4444-B (Dilan) is on today's rules committee and it expected to be voted on in today’s legislative session. The legislation permits the commissioner of the department of buildings to issue a temporary certificate of occupancy to residential condominiums when the building's owners have partially completed the necessary work to achieve compliance with city building codes.

Homeownership Preservation Town Hall Meeting

Southeast Queens is at the epicenter of the national mortgage crisis. Homeowners in the district, I represent continue to need access to information and quality services, at a time when the media and federal government’s attention are beginning to move away from the plight of homeowners.
