The State Senate today unanimously passed legislation co-sponsored by Senator David J. Valesky (D-Oneida) and featured in a report by the Independent Democratic Conference that will help further expand the sale of New York State -grown agricultural products.

5/3/2011: District Council #37 Lobby Day

On May 3, 2011 Senator Huntley met with many members of District Council 37 (DC 37) in her Albany office and at the convention center. Homeownership Preservation Town Hall Meeting

Southeast Queens is at the epicenter of the national mortgage crisis. Homeowners in the district, I represent continue to need access to information and quality services, at a time when the media and federal government’s attention are beginning to move away from the plight of homeowners. Our community is built around the institutions of church and family. We must draw on these strengths to build the supportive environment that homeowners at-risk of foreclosure will need now and in the future. Hoyt, Grisanti Announce Passage of Key Bill for Richardson Reuse

BUFFALO, NY – Assemblymember Sam Hoyt (D-Buffalo) and Senator Mark Grisanti (R-Buffalo) announce the passage of legislation (A371/S1406) important to the restoration of the H.H. Richardson Complex on Buffalo’s West Side. The Assembly vote was unanimous 121-0 and the bill passed the Senate last week, carried by Grisanti.
