Statement on Senate Budget Resolution

Albany, NY – The State Senate passed a resolution which outlines a general plan for the 2010-2011 State Budget.  Senator Ranzenhofer has issued the following statement:

“The Senate Democrats drafted their final budget resolution in secret, without any input from Republicans.  They then released the resolution less than an hour before it was voted on.  Only a budget resolution crafted in secret would produce such a bad deal for New Yorkers.

Serrano Discusses State Parks, Arts, and Living Museums in Senate Budget Resolution

Senator José M. Serrano (D-Manhattan/Bronx) today discussed yesterday’s Senate Budget Resolution, and acknowledged that although it is has been a difficult budget season, the resolution presents a positive step in the right direction for State Parks, the Arts, Tourism, and Living Museums.

SENATOR GOLDEN RAISES CONCERNS ABOUT RECENT PAROLE POLICIES AND PROPOSED BUDGET CUTS

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today issued a letter to Acting Commissioner Sean M.
