Protect Your Children From Hazardous Toys

The recall of millions of hazardous toys from major manufacturers has worried many parents and made it difficult and confusing for them to find information to protect their kids. Most of the recalled toys were made in China and contain dangerous levels of lead and/or have small pieces that can pose choking hazards for young children.

Constantino Brumidi Lodge of Deer Park Celebrates 40th Anniversary

The Order Sons of Italy in America, Constantino Brumidi Lodge No. 2211 in Deer Park celebrated their 40th Anniversary with a dinner/dance at Chateau Le Mer on October 29, 2009.  Senator Owen H. New York State Resolution For 20 Years Of Service

Wolcott - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently recognized Huron Town Clerk Shirley Eygnor for over 20 years of public service to the Town of Huron. Senator Malcolm A. Smith Holds Annual Turkey Giveaway In Southeast Queens and Far Rockaway

(NEW YORK)- New York State Senate President Pro Tempore Malcolm A. Smith will once again jump-start the holiday season by distributing over 150 turkeys to organizations and constituents throughout his district. This event has largely been successful in the past, and will prove to once again provide turkeys to families in need.
