NY-SPAN Public Meeting: Senator Serrano Encourages You to Submit Testimony

The New York State Legislature Joint Advisory Board on the Broadcast of State Government Proceedings will conduct their second public meeting on December 10th. The Board was established to advise on the expansion of the current dedicated legislative television channel. The Advisory Board members have recommended that the television station be modeled after C-SPAN, and they would like your input on how this governmental affairs channel should operate.

Protect Your Children From Hazardous Toys

The recall of millions of hazardous toys from major manufacturers has worried many parents and made it difficult and confusing for them to find information to protect their kids. Most of the recalled toys were made in China and contain dangerous levels of lead and/or have small pieces that can pose choking hazards for young children.

Constantino Brumidi Lodge of Deer Park Celebrates 40th Anniversary

The Order Sons of Italy in America, Constantino Brumidi Lodge No. 2211 in Deer Park celebrated their 40th Anniversary with a dinner/dance at Chateau Le Mer on October 29, 2009.  Senator Owen H.
