Nothing is more important than creating jobs and getting our economy moving again.  New Yorkers have waited long enough for the Aqueduct agreement to be reached, and now we have to ensure the real work begins as soon as possible.  The Aqueduct project will generate substantial upfront and ongoing revenues to help New York through the current fiscal crisis, and the creation of construction trades jobs, service jobs, and tourism revenues will help place New York on solid financial footing well into the future.
