Introduced  by  Sen. LAVALLE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
  printed to be committed to the Committee on Crime Victims,  Crime  and
  Correction

AN  ACT  to amend the correction law, in relation to requiring the divi-
  sion of criminal  justice  services  to  include  information  stating
  whether a sex offender is in violation of registration requirements

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subdivision 1  of  section  168-b  of  the
correction law, as amended by chapter 11 of the laws of 2002, is amended
to read as follows:
  (c)  A  description  of  the  offense  for  which the sex offender was
convicted, the date of conviction [and], the sentence imposed AND WHETH-
ER THE SEX OFFENDER IS IN VIOLATION OF THE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
