AN ACT to provide for the payment of universal  prekindergarten  program
  aid  for  the  2009-2010  school  year to the Dansville central school
  district

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Notwithstanding  the  provisions of section 3602-e of the
education law or any other provision of law to the contrary, with regard
to  the  payment  of  universal  prekindergarten  program  aid  for  the
2009-2010  school  year  to  the  Dansville central school district, the
failure  of such school district to timely file its 2009-2010 notice  of
fully  implemented  universal  prekindergarten program form shall not be
deemed to prohibit  or  impede  the  education  department  from  making
payment  of  such  aid in a timely manner if on or before April 1, 2012,
the Dansville central school district files  such  form.  The  education
department  shall pay such universal prekindergarten program aid for the
2009-2010 school year from funds appropriated for prior year claims.
  S 2. this act shall take effect immediately.
