BILL NUMBER:S3339 TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the public authorities law, in relation to providing financing and construction of capital facilities for Williamsburg Infant and Early Childhood Development Center PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: To provide financing and construction of capital facilities for Williamsburg Infant and Early Childhood Development Center. SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section 1676 and subdivision 1 of section 1680 of the Public Authorities Law are amended. JUSTIFICATION: Williamsburg Infant and Early Childhood Development Center opened in 1985, serving children with disabilities starting with only 4 students; they now serve 80 and have a waiting list over 20 students long. This bill will allow the Williamsburg Infant and Early Childhood Development Center to borrow construction capital from DASNY at a reduced interest rate so as to allow the center to increase in size to accommodate a 180 student enrollment. DILAN, SQUADRON -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to providing financing and construction of capital facilities for Williamsburg Infant and Early Childhood Development Center THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section 1676 of the public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows: WILLIAMSBURG INFANT AND EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTER AT 22 MIDDLETON STREET, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK. S 2. Subdivision 1 of section 1680 of the public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows: WILLIAMSBURG INFANT AND EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTER AT 22 MIDDLETON STREET, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
