THIELE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments AN ACT to amend section 2 of chapter 314 of the laws of 2012 relating to authorizing the town of East Hampton to alienate and convey its inter- est in parkland, jointly owned by the towns of East Hampton and South- ampton, to the town of Southampton, in relation to metes and bounds; and to repeal certain provisions of such chapter relating thereto THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 314 of the laws of 2012 relating to authorizing the town of East Hampton to alienate and convey its interest in parkland, jointly owned by the towns of East Hampton and Southampton, to the town of Southampton, is REPEALED and a new section 2 is added to read as follows: S 2. THE LANDS REFERRED TO IN SECTION ONE OF THIS ACT ARE DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: ALL THAT CERTAIN PLOT, PIECE OR PARCEL OF LAND, WITH THE BUILDINGS AND IMPROVEMENTS THEREON ERECTED, SITUATE LYING AND BEING AT THE VILLAGE OF SAGAPONACK IN THE TOWN OF SOUTHAMPTON, COUNTY OF SUFFOLK AND STATE OF NEW YORK, BEING BOUNDED AND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A CONCRETE MONUMENT SET AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE NORTH- ERLY SIDE OF MONTAUK HIGHWAY AND THE WESTERLY SIDE OF LAND NOW OR FORMERLY OF JOHN ANDERSON; SAID POINT ALSO BEING 405.81 FEET WESTERLY FROM THE CORNER FORMED BY THE INTERSECTION OF THE WESTERLY SIDE OF WAIN- SCOTT HARBOR ROAD AND THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF MONTAUK HIGHWAY, AS MEASURED ALONG THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF MONTAUK HIGHWAY; EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
