CARLUCCI -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Educa- tion IN ASSEMBLY -- Introduced by M. of A. ZEBROWSKI -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to authorize the commissioner of education to disregard a reduction in the apportionment of public money to the Clarkstown central school district THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding the fact that the Clarkstown central school district was only in session for one hundred seventy-nine days in the 2012-2013 school year, the commissioner of education is authorized to disregard the reduction of state aid required pursuant to section 3604 of the education law and shall pay such school district its apportion- ment as if the school district had been in session for the required one hundred eighty days. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10793-01-3
