designation of the "Saratoga County Veterans' Memorial Highway"

PURPOSE: To designate a portion of the state highway system as the
"Saratoga County Veterans' Memorial Highway". That portion of State
Highway Route 4 in the Village of Schuylerville (Town of Saratoga),
commencing at its intersection with Spring Street, south on Route 4,

the Town of Stillwater into the City of Mechanicville and then continu-
ing south into the Town of Waterford and ending at the Saratoga County
line in Waterford on Route 4 shall be designated as the "Saratoga County
Veterans' Memorial Highway".

SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:

Section one - amends the highway law by adding a new section 342-iii
which designates a portion of the state highway system as the "Saratoga
County Veterans' Memorial Highway". That portion of state highway Route
4 in the Village of Schuylerville (Town of Saratoga), commencing at its

ty which was the location of the Battle of Saratoga, Turning Point of
the Revolutionary War. It would also benefit the Saratoga National Ceme-
tery and the New York State Military Museum.
