BILL NUMBER:S7625 TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the state finance law, in relation to certain municipalities receiving state aid PURPOSE: To amend the state finance law, in relation to certain municipalities receiving state aid. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Allows newly incorporated village, towns, or cities post 2005 to permanently receive AIM funding according to State Finance Law. JUSTIFICATION: These newly incorporated village, towns, or cities are excluded from AIM funding solely on the basis of being incorporated post 2005 according to State Finance Law Section 54. LARKIN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Finance AN ACT to amend the state finance law, in relation to certain munici- palities receiving state aid THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subparagraph (viii) of paragraph a of subdivision 10 of section 54 of the state finance law is amended by adding a new clause 3 to read as follows: (3) FOR THE STATE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING APRIL FIRST, TWO THOUSAND FOURTEEN, THE AMOUNT OF MISCELLANEOUS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE LOCAL ASSISTANCE ACCOUNT RECEIVED BY A VILLAGE IN THE FISCAL YEAR BEGIN- NING APRIL FIRST, TWO THOUSAND THIRTEEN.
