AN ACT relating to the collection of property taxes and interest for the
  year 2015

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding sections 924 or 924-a of the real  property
tax law or any other provision of law to the contrary, any real property
taxes  required  to be paid on or before February 2, 2015 may be paid on
or before February 3, 2015 without the assessment of interest or  penal-
ties and any payment received on February 3, 2015 shall be treated as if
such payment was made on February 2, 2015.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN ACT relating to the collection of property taxes and interest for the
  year 2015

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Notwithstanding sections 924 or 924-a of the real property
tax law or any other provision of law to the contrary, any real property
taxes required to be paid on or before February 2, 2015 may be  paid  on
or  before February 3, 2015 without the assessment of interest or penal-
ties and any payment received on February 3, 2015 shall be treated as if
such payment was made on February 2, 2015 where the municipal office was
closed on February 2, 2015 due to inclement weather and the payment  was
physically delivered on February 3, 2015.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

  again  reported from said committee with amendments, ordered reprinted
  as amended and recommitted to said committee

AN ACT relating to the collection of property taxes and interest for the
  year 2015

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Notwithstanding sections 924 or 924-a of the real property
tax law, any real property tax payment made on February 3, 2015 shall be
treated as if such payment was made on February 2, 2015 where the munic-
ipal office was closed for the full day  of  February  2,  2015  due  to
inclement  weather  and the payment was physically delivered on February
3, 2015; provided that the municipality passes a resolution adopting the
provisions of this act within ninety days following the date upon  which
this act becomes law.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
