BILL NUMBER: S6079 TITLE OF BILL : An act to amend chapter 381 of the laws of 2010 amending the tax law relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of Rye Brook, in relation to extending the expiration thereof PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL : To authorize the Village of Rye Brook to extend a room occupancy tax not to exceed 3%. SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS : Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 381 of the laws of 2010 amending the tax law relating- to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of Rye Brook is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed three years after such date September 1, 2019. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXISTING LAW :

LATIMER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to amend chapter 381 of the laws of 2010 amending the tax law relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of Rye Brook, in relation to extending the expiration thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 381 of the laws of 2010 amending the tax law relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of Rye Brook, as amended by chapter 108 of the laws of 2013, is amended to read as follows: S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed September 1, [2016] 2019. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
