LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Nancy and Jim Moniodes upon the occasion
of their designation as Chamber Members of the Year by the Chamber of
Commerce of the Bellmores

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those who would
devote themselves to the welfare of the community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Nancy and Jim Moniodes have given not only of their time and
energies but also of their competence, intelligence and leadership and
consequently have been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Nancy and Jim
Moniodes upon the occasion of their designation as Chamber Members of
the Year by the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores, to be celebrated
on Saturday, January 19, 2013, in Woodbury, New York; and
WHEREAS, This special event, titled "Luau", is the Chamber of Commerce
of the Bellmores' 2013 Installation Dinner Dance; festivities will be
held at the Woodbury Country Club; and
WHEREAS, Owners of "Got Cupcakes", Nancy and Jim Moniodes have been
called upon to contribute their time and talents to countless civic and
charitable endeavors and have always given of themselves unstintingly;
and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of their community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Nancy and Jim Moniodes have stood
constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by individuals
for the benefit of others which Nancy and Jim Moniodes have displayed
throughout their lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Nancy and Jim Moniodes upon the occasion of their designation as
Chamber Members of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Nancy and Jim Moniodes.
