LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION mourning the death of Paul A. Moje, distinguished
citizen and devoted member of his community

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens of the State of New York whose lifework and civic endeavor
served to enhance the quality of life in their communities and the great
State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to mourn
the death of Paul A. Moje who died on Monday, December 3, 2012; and
WHEREAS, Born in Lockport, New York, on September 29, 1965, Paul A.
Moje was the son of the late Robert W. and Lauraine Moje; and
WHEREAS, Paul A. Moje was the past fire chief of the Wendelville Fire
Company, serving 2001-2002 and again in 2010-2011; and
WHEREAS, An avid outdoorsman and Captain of the Brauers Euchre Team,
Paul A. Moje was employed by the Niagara County Highway Department as a
truck driver; and
WHEREAS, Paul A. Moje distinguished himself in his profession and by
his sincere dedication and substantial contribution to the welfare of
his community; and
WHEREAS, Paul A. Moje's commitment to excellence, and his spirit of
humanity, carried over into all fields of enterprise, including charita-
ble and civic endeavors; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his parents, Paul A. Moje is predeceased by
his father-in-law, Richard Holler; he is survived by his wife of 19
years, Kathleen Holler Moje; three sons, Joshua, Zachary, and Andrew
Moje; two brothers, David (Ann), and Randy Moje; a sister, Cheryl
(David) Wright; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Holler; and several nieces
and nephews; Paul was also the brother-in-law of Beth (Gary) Grimmer,
Brian (Mary) Holler, Greg (Melissa) Holler, James (Lisa) Holler, and
Lynn (Jeffrey) Orlowski; and
WHEREAS, Aimed with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Paul A. Moje leaves behind a legacy which will long endure
the passage of time and will remain as a comforting memory to all he
served and befriended; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Paul A. Moje, distinguished citizen and devoted
member of his community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the family of Paul A. Moje.
