LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Albany County teen delegate Rachel Lee
upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by the
Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Program

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to young people of the great Empire State who have made strong
contributions to their communities and who serve as role models for
their peers; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Albany County teen delegate Rachel Lee upon the occasion of her desig-
nation for special recognition by the Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H
Program at the 4-H Capital Days Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday, March
5, 2013; and
WHEREAS, The event, which is coordinated by the Cornell Cooperative
Extension 4-H Program, will involve numerous teen delegates representing
nearly every county in New York State; and
WHEREAS, Seventeen year old Rachel Lee lives in Voorheesville, New
York; she attends Clayton A. Bouton High School and is looking forward
to the opportunity to see the State Legislature in action; and
WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose, Rachel
Lee now stands honorably, with just pride in her accomplishments and in
eager anticipation of future challenges, understanding and appreciating
the caring counsel and support provided by her teachers, coaches and
parents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Albany County teen delegate Rachel Lee upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the Cornell Cooperative Extension
4-H Program; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Rachel Lee.
