EEE, or Eastern Equine Encephalitis, is a mosquito-borne illness that affects livestock, but it's also caused the deaths of five humans in Central NY since 1971, including three in the past three years alone in Oswego and Onondaga Counties. Senator Patty Ritchie is targeting EEE following the death this summer of four-year-old Maggie Wilcox of New Haven, Oswego County. This video covers the October 13 Roundtable forum jointly sponsored by Senator Ritchie and Senate Health Committee Chair Kemp Hannon, at the Education Center in Oswego.
