KENNEDY HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR WORKS IN SENATOR FUSCHILLO’S OFFICE AS PART OF “SENIOR EXPERIENCE” PROGRAM
Daniel Reisner, a senior at Kennedy High School, recently spent several weeks working in the office of Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) as part of Kennedy High School’s “Senior Experience Program.”
Kennedy’s “Senior Experience” is a unique hands-on program which allows graduating seniors to choose a field of interest and work with professionals in that field. During the course of the program, students learn about the daily routines and challenges in a specific line of business while gaining knowledge of the particular requirements involved.
Daniel, who will be attending Brandeis University in the fall, assisted Senator Fuschillo and his staff with several constituent service and community outreach programs. In addition, Daniel traveled to Albany to view a working session of the New York State Senate.
“Daniel is a bright, hardworking young man who was a great help to my office. I thank him for his help and wish him all the best in the future,” said Senator Fuschillo.
