NYS Senator Eric Adams (D, Brooklyn) and Civil Rights Attorney Norman Siegel will hold a press conference with the victims of a six-alarm fire in Brooklyn that left sixty-four families homeless.  Residents of the evacuated building have stated that their previous warnings on safety violations were ignored.  Senator Adams will call on the NYC Fire Department to release the results of its investigation into the cause of the blaze to determine if criminal actions were involved.

Senator Adams will also call upon City Hall to re-examine methods for providing displaced fire victims with emergency housing and other resources.
