For the second year in a row, the Rochester Regional Library Council (RRLC) is the recipient of a grant for $30,000 from Senator Jim Alesi for a unique local website that provides trustworthy health information without any ads.

CLIC-on-Health - a cooperative project of local medical, public, and school librarians and health agencies, under the auspices of RRLC - provides a website that lets users do a "google like" search to find local health agency information topics and full text articles from teh National Library of Medicine.  This grant will fund several initiatives, including support and enhancement of CLIC-on-Health website and training for senior groups in the region in how to use computers to find quality trusted health information.

The RRLC is a mult-type library network providing services to libiaries in the five-county Rochester region- Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
