"Preparing your family for a disaster, as we saw last year with Hurricane Katrina, is simply the best way to deal with and recover from any emergency. We don't like to think about disaster striking our community but we must be realistic and ready ourselves for any situation. I hope you will join me for one of these important meetings so that you and your family can make a plan that I hope you will never have to put into effect," stated Senator Flanagan. "This meeting will enable all residents to learn from and to ask questions of the professionals."
Both events have a capacity of approximately 100, so residents who plan on attending should contact Senator Flanagan's office by calling 631-361-2154 or by sending an e-mail by clicking here.
