Senator Flanagan To Host Virtual Town Hall Meeting
Senator John J. Flanagan (2nd Senate District) will be hosting a Virtual Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, March 20 beginning at 7:30 PM. This half-hour Internet event will give residents the opportunity to discuss the topics of the day with Senator Flanagan from the comfort of their home.
Anyone who wishes to submit a question for the upcoming chat session should CLICK HERE. Questions will be accepted any time prior to or during the event and answers will be provided during the live session on March 20.
Residents may ask a question or provide a comment on any subject they wish and all submissions will be read. Senator Flanagan will answer as many questions as possible during the session but, due to time constraints, all submissions will not be posted during the chat.
This event will take place while Senator Flanagan is in Albany working to make sure that Long Island's voice is heard during the budget negotiations.
"Many Long Islanders are busy with work, family and other events and this Internet event is designed to provide them with a convenient opportunity to have their voice heard. This live interaction will open up the discussion by giving me a greater opportunity to hear what is on the minds of the people I represent and providing everyone with a better opportunity to voice their opinion," stated Senator Flanagan. "I will be fighting to secure more funding for our children, get more tax relief for Long Islanders and ensure that the voice of Long Island is heard. I hope you will join me on March 20 to make sure that your input is part of this important process."
Residents who are unable to join Senator Flanagan during the March 20 Virtual Chat may wish to join him at one of his upcoming Town Hall meetings that he is hosting throughout the area.PleaseCLICK HEREfor more information.
