SENATOR GOLDEN TO OFFER DMV MOBILE OUTREACH PROGRAM
Encourages Those Interested in Service to Contact Office
Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, 22nd District) is announcing that he will soon be
making arrangements with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles to host the DMV Mobile
Outreach Program at his District Office and is encouraging
those interested in the service to contact his office.
The DMV Mobile Outreach Program "Driving DMV Services to You" provides services such as:
providing written exams for new driver applicants and issuing learner permits; renewing driver licenses,
registrations or "refreshing" photos for updating driver licenses; issuing Non-Driver Photo ID cards;
registering a vehicle; reviewing your driving record and providing a copy for your personal records; and
making an official change of address on your license or registration file and more.
Senator Marty Golden stated, "In the past when I have welcomed the DMV Mobile Outreach
Program, it was well received and many took advantage of having the ability to take care of their driving
needs at my office. It is my hope to soon schedule the next visit, so we can have this service again. If you
are interested, please contact my office so we can inform the Department of Motor Vehicles of the great
interest in our community, and then schedule an appointment."
Those interested should contact Maria Scarpati of Senator Golden’s staff at (718) 238-6044 or
e-mail Senator Golden at firstname.lastname@example.org Photo identification, proof of address, date of birth
and your Social Security card are among the acceptable documents required for proof of identity.
