Senator Golden Welcomes New Commander At Flag Day Ceremony

 

SENATOR GOLDEN WELCOMES NEW FORT HAMILTON COMMANDER AT FLAG DAY CEREMONY TO SUPPORT U.S. TROOPS

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, Brooklyn), with other elected officials including Assemblyman Alec Brook-Kransy, veteran organizations, and civic leaders, hosted a Flag Day Ceremony to support the men and women of the United States Military serving our country both home and abroad this past Saturday at John Paul Jones Park.

Senator Golden welcomed the new Commander of the U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Hamilton Army Base, Colonel Stephen Smith. The ceremony featured patriotic musical performances. Small American Flags and "Support Our Troops" posters and lawn signs were distributed to those in attendance.
