MINEOLA -- Senator Craig M. Johnson, (D-Port Washington), is encouraging everyone to support the first-ever Jack's Run for Autism Awareness.

All proceeds from the 5K (or 3.1 mile) trek will benefit Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism (NSSA).

The run/ walk, which kicks off at 9:30 a.m., will begin and end in Wilson Park, between Roslyn Road and Glen Cove Road.

Registration for runners is $20 prior to June 6. Race Day registration will be $25 and take place between 7:45 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.

All pre-registrants will receive a T-shirt. Refreshments will be served and prizes will be awarded to the top 5 grossing pledges.
