Senator Saland Announces Second Public Forum On Identity Theft

Senator Steve Saland (R,C Poughkeepsie) will hold a public forum on Identity Theft on Thursday, June 1, 2006, at the Henry A. Wallace Center at the F.D.R. Presidential Library and Home on Route 9, in Hyde Park. The event will take place between 6 and 8 p.m.

Senator Saland will host the event with guest speakers Edward T. McLoughlin, Bureau Chief of the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office, and Cindy Connors DeSimone, Upstate New York Outreach Manager of the New York State Consumer Protection Board to discuss the threat of identity theft and how the public can better protect themselves from this growing and devastating crime.
