Eagle Scout is the highest possible rank in the Boy Scouts of America. The Eagle Scout is an honor that is held for life and is said, “once an Eagle, always an Eagle.”
“It was a great honor for me to meet Robert and present him with this proclamation. I am very impressed at the hard work and time he put into his project to enhance the hiking trail on the Putnam County Land Trust,” said Senator Greg Ball. “We should all look up to Robert for his hard work and leadership to finish this project and for achieving this prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.”
Robert’s Eagle Scout Service Project was the construction of two footbridges and an information kiosk serving a hiking tail on land held in public trust by the Putnam County Land Trust. Robert raised over $1,000 for the project, which was completed in September 2012. The Trail is now open for public use.
