Senator Ball Secures $20,000 for the Continued Funding
of Hudson River Eaglefest
Brewster, N.Y. – (1/30/12) – On Saturday, February 4, Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) will be on hand at the 8th annual Hudson River Eaglefest to present Teatown Director Diane Barron with a $20,000 check for the continued funding of Eaglefest.
“We’re just thrilled that Senator Ball could secure this generous fund” said Barron. “The expenses are a huge hurdle for the continued success of this event, and we’re just soaring over this generous contribution.”
Eaglefest brings together 30 different public and private collaborators in support of the continued preservation of the Hudson Valley’s bald eagle population.
“I’m very happy to have had a part in the continued success of this event. It’s a great opportunity for the kids to come out here and learn about the bald eagle, get to see these amazing birds in action,” said Ball.
Advance sale tickets for Eagle Theatre shows are $5.00 per person. Tickets are $10.00 per person when purchased at the door. Children ages 3 and under are free.
