PATTERSON GOLDEN AGERS’ PRESIDENT NOMINATED FOR SENATOR BALL’S WOMEN OF DISTINCTION HALL OF FAME
Brewster, N.Y. – 05/02/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) has officially accepted the nomination of Cheyanne Alberti from Patterson into the 40th Senate District 3rd Annual Women of Distinction Hall of Fame.
Created and hosted by Senator Ball, The Women Of Distinction Hall of Fame was designed to honor outstanding women from throughout the 40th Senate District. Towns, villages and cities district-wide have selected one nominee that will be honored at a ceremony on May 29th.
“The Women of Distinction Hall of Fame was created to honor women that have chose a path of leadership, living a life of service before self,” said Senator Greg Ball. “I am delighted to accept Cheyanne Alberti from Patterson into the hall of fame. Cheyanne is an extremely active resident of Patterson that donates countless hours of her time back to the community. She is well deserving of this honor, I look forward to officially recognizing her at the ceremony on May 29th.”
Cheyanne Alberti was born in the Bronx, NY. She graduated from Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Nursing with an RN diploma in 1962 and spent most of her 44 year nursing career in labor and delivery. In 2007, Cheyanne was named the President for the Golden Age Seniors of Patterson, NY. During her free time Cheyanne enjoys to volunteer for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Putnam County (R.S.V.P.), Putnam County Land Trust, Putnam Humane Society, Wolf Conservation Center, Equine Therapeutic Center and more. For her volunteer service she received the 2012 Phenomenal Women Recognition Award and in 2013 she was recognized by R.S.V.P. for her service as President of the Patterson Golden Age Seniors.
“I love living here in Patterson with all it has to offer, especially the Swing Dance and concerts at the Recreation Center. My friends at the Art of Healing, staff at the recreation center and staff from the Town Hall make living her a joy,” said Cheyanne Alberti of Patterson.
