Ranzenhofer Announces Veterans Outreach; Information on benefits, networking and business start-up programs

New York State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer will hold a Veterans Outreach Program on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the auditorium of the Batavia VA Medical Center, 222 Richmond Avenue.  The program will inform veterans about benefits as well as present special opportunities for veterans, including networking and business start-up programs.
“Our veterans have given much to defend our freedom and our country.  It is imperative that veterans be made aware of all the benefits they have earned.  This outreach program will ensure veterans have access to all of the programs and services that are offered,” said Senator Ranzenhofer.  “I encourage all veterans and family members to attend the upcoming Outreach on November 12.”
The Veterans Outreach Program provides veterans with a great opportunity to learn first-hand about the most current information from accredited representatives of the VA Medical Center, Genesee County Veterans Service Agency, Vietnam Veterans of America and New York State Small Business Development Center.   Updates pertaining to benefits will be provided as well as an opportunity for veterans to ask questions pertaining to their individual circumstances.
To RSVP for the program or for additional information, please contact Senator Ranzenhofer’s District Office by phone at (716) 631-8695 or 1-800-597-3517.
