Brewster, N.Y. – 3/26/12 – Ready for a burger and a hotdog, or two, three or four?!
Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) is extending an invitation to all of his constituents to join him for a free BBQ at his district office on April 1st to celebrating the end of the MTA payroll tax!
“This is a tax that has literally cost hundreds of jobs and destroyed the dreams of dozens of business owners”, said Senator Ball. “Homeowners throughout this great state have been forced to tighten the belt and trim the fat in order to make ends meet. I’m looking forward to celebrating this monumental achievement with my constituents.”
Senator Ball partnered with Governor Cuomo back in December to end this burdensome tax that was stifling job creation and hurting local businesses. On April 1st, the tax will finally be eliminated completely for 80% of businesses paying it, including 290,000 small businesses and 410,000 self-employed people across the MTA region.
This free BBQ will take place on April 1, 2012 at Senator Ball’s district office at 1441 Route 22, Brewster, NY 10509 at 12 pm. Senator Ball’s office will also be hosting an open house that day for anyone who has concerns or just wants to stop by to say hello!
