SENATOR BONACIC APPOINTED TO THE MID-HUDSON REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

Senate Majority Leader Dean G. Skelos (R-Rockville Center) appointed Senator John J. Bonacic (R,C,I – Mount Hope) to the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council this week.

“I am honored and thank Senator Skelos for this appointment,” said Senator John Bonacic. “Economic development is one of  New York State’s top priorities. I look forward to taking part in this council and believe we can create a more efficient business model and foster economic growth in the Mid-Hudson Region.”

The Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council was developed in 2011 by Governor Andrew Cuomo as a means to drive local economic development and to improve the business climate in New York State. The council works to redesign the relationship between state and government and businesses to stimulate regional economic development and create jobs throughout the Mid-Hudson and Catskill Regions.
