Senator Flanagan Invites All Children To Join His Summer Reading Program

Continuing an annual tradition, Senator John Flanagan is inviting all students in kindergarten through eighth grade to participate in the New York State Senate's Summer Reading Program.  This program is aimed at helping the students keep their reading skills honed and minds sharp during their time away from school.

"Summer is a great time for fun, for friends and for reading.  This is a fun way to keep kids interested in reading and help get them ready for next school year.  Reading is such an important part of a child’s education and it is my hope that this program helps kids get ahead,” said Senator Flanagan.

If you would like copies of the Summer Reading log, please either email Senator Flanagan at or print the PDF of the log by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.
