Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Assemblyman David McDonough (R-North Merrick) recently visited Seaford High School to congratulate the Vikings football team on capturing the 2010 Nassau County Conference IV Championship.

The Vikings had another impressive season, winning their fourth consecutive county championship by defeating Roosevelt High School 28-25 in the championship game.

“For the fourth straight year, the Seaford Vikings’ countless  hours of practice, training, and hard work earned them a great reward; a championship season. I congratulate them on once again earning a place among Long Island’s elite high school football teams,” said Senator Fuschillo.

Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough presented the players and coaches with a legislative resolution honoring their accomplishment.
