SENATOR FUSCHILLO SPONSORS LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION HONORING NORTH BELLMORE EAGLE SCOUT

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that the New York State Senate recently passed a legislative resolution he sponsored honoring North Bellmore resident Jonathan Spohrer for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

Jonathan is a member of Troop 577 in Bellmore, and through his years of dedication to the scouts, hard work rising through the scouting’s ranks, and community service, Jonathan has distinguished himself as a leader worthy of scouting’s most prestigious honor.

For his community service project, Jonathan planned, developed, and executed the installation of various improvements to the Bellmore Presbyterian Church, including a privacy fence, refurbished benches in the sanctuary and a storage shed.

“Jonathan is a dedicated young man whose commitment to his community and strong leadership qualities set an excellent example for others to follow,” said Senator Fuschillo. “I congratulate this outstanding young man on earning this honor and am certain he will accomplish other great achievements in the future.”

With passage of the resolution, Jonathan’s achievements will forever be part of the official record of the New York State Senate.
