SENATOR LAVALLE SPONSORS FREE FLU CLINIC AT ST. CHARLES HOSPITAL
Senator Kenneth P. LaValle today announced that he is sponsoring a FREE FLU SHOT CLINIC at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, starting at 12 Noon. There are 400 immunizations that will be administered on a first-come, first-serve basis to adults 18 and over.
The FREE FLU SHOT CLINIC is part of a day-long event that St. Charles Hospital is offering to help families improve household health and safety. The shots will be offered from 12 Noon through 8 p.m., or until supplies run out.
“I am pleased to be able to bring this FREE flu immunization clinic to the community in time for the upcoming flu season,” said Senator LaValle. “It is my hope that individuals in need of the flu shot will take advantage of this opportunity to get immunized before the season hits.”
