Senator Nozzolio Announces Regulatory Reform Initiative
Encourages Local Residents to Share Suggestions
Continuing his aggressive efforts to grow jobs and reduce the burden on New York’s hardworking taxpayers, State Senator Mike Nozzolio today announced a new initiative designed to identify and eliminate a minimum of 1,000 job-killing New York State regulations. Senator Nozzolio is asking local residents to help identify costly and duplicative regulations that hurt job-producing businesses.
“This regulatory reform initiative will set the groundwork for New York State to be competitive once again and will encourage private sector businesses to invest and create jobs here in New York,” said Senator Mike Nozzolio. “We must take decisive action to keep New York State moving in the right direction and create a more favorable environment for job-producing businesses to grow and that is why I am asking for the public’s help identifying unnecessary and burdensome regulations that hurt local businesses.”
