    Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - (11/29/11) - "Tom Kirwan was a valued, courageous colleague. He dedicated his life to public service, not only as an extremely conscientious, capable Assemblyman, but during his long and selfless commitment to public protection as a member of the New York State Police.  He will be missed."
