TOMORROW: SENATOR BALL TO HOST RIGHT TO LIFE LOBBY DAY IN ALBANY
Albany, N.Y. – 04/29/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) will host a Right to Life Lobby Day on Wednesday. April 30, 2014 from 9:00 AM – Noon in “The Well” of the Legislative Office Building.
Senator Ball has worked with NYS Right To Life to organize the day to express the importance of opposing Albany’s abortion expansion agenda.
This year, Right to Life Lobby Day will focus on Senator Greg Ball’s legislation (S2286) to ban sex selection-based abortions. Senator Greg Ball is scheduled to speak at approximately 10:00 AM.
“Gendercide, or sex selection-based abortion, goes above and beyond what anyone could ever consider as an ethical practice. This is an outright assault on the sanctity of human life, and no matter where you stand on abortion we must all agree that sex selection-based abortion is absolutely unacceptable,” said Senator Greg Ball. “I am proud to work with New York State Right To Life to organize this lobby day to fight for every human, born and unborn.”
“It is so refreshing to work with Senator Ball. He is compassionate and unafraid to stand up for those who seemingly have no voice in our society. Other speak of protecting women, but Senator Ball’s actions prove he’s fighting for both women and their children,” said Jessica Rodgers, Legislative Director at NYS Right to Life.
