Woman of Distinction From The Town of Croton-on-Hudson, Cynthia Lippolis
Cynthia Lippolis has been a resident of Croton on Hudson for 33 years, where she has dedicated her life to volunteerism and making the community around her a better place. In 1998 Ms. Lippolis established her own company and is the Broker Owner of Prudential River Towns Real Estate with offices serving Northern Westchester and Putnam Counties. Ms. Lippolis is a former Director of Hudson Valley Chamber of Commerce and past recipient of their Volunteer of the Year Award. Ms. Lippolis is a 15 year member of the Rotary Club of Croton on Hudson where she has served as Club President, Secretary and Treasurer. She is a recipient of Rotary International’s prestigious Paul Harris Fellow and has been a key member supporting the Club’s annual Classic Auto Show which raises money for their Literacy programs and Senior Citizen programs. Ms. Lippolis, along with her fellow Rotarians works with the Croton Food Bank to deliver meals to those in need during the holidays and she also stands for the Salvation Army Christmas Bell Ringing Campaign. Ms. Lippolis represented the Croton Rotary Club for a Rotary International Clean Water Project and through this project, a water filtration plant was constructed which provided clean drinking water to 3,500 people in the Village of Tamara, Honduras. Ms. Lippolis was also involved in the Rotary International’s Gift of Life Program where she and her family hosted a 2 year old Ecuadorian child and his mother for 2 months while the child underwent lifesaving open heart surgery at Maria Fereri’s Children’s Hospital.
