Woman of Distinction From The Village of Mt. Kisco, Linda Cindrich

Linda Cindrich is a life-long resident of Mount Kisco. A graduate of the State University of New York, Empire College, Ms. Cindrich has been a volunteer with the American Red Cross since the age of 17, volunteering as a Water Safety Instructor, First Aid Instructor and CPR Instructor. Ms. Cindrich later joined the Mt. Kisco Lions Ambulance Corps and became an Emergency Medical Technician. After going back to school for education, Ms. Cindrich  founded the Mt. Kisco Elementary School’s Parent Center, the first early childhood center in the area. Ms. Cindrich has served as a minor league coach for the Mt. Kisco Recreation, and is a member and past president of the Italian American Club of Northern Westchester. Ms. Cindrich also volunteers for the Mt. Kisco Senior Center and Mt. Kisco Chamber of Commerce, currently serves as Chairperson of the Mt. Kisco Recreation Commission and has served as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester and currently is a member of their Scholarship Committee. Ms. Cindrich is an active member of the American Legion Post 136 Auxiliary and is an avid gardener and artist and has four children with her husband Michael.
