Community Rallies Against Possible Closure of PS 161 and MS 587

Senator Adams joined New York Communities for Change, school administration, teachers and parents  to speak out against the possible co-location or closing of from P.S. 161 and M.S. 587. Parents, staff and concerned residents are asking for a realistic plan from the Department of Education – one that involves parents and the community, and addresses the individual needs of District 17's struggling schools.
