    The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) will be holding public hearings on hydrofracking in New York State.  The dates and times in New York City are as follows:

    11/30/2011

    1:00 PM - 4:00

    Tribeca Performing Arts Center, 199 Chambers Street, New York, NY 10007

    11/30/2011

    6:00 PM - 9:00

    Tribeca Performing Arts Center, 199 Chambers Street, New York, NY 10007

    I strongly urge residents who are concerned about the impact of hydrofracking in New York State to attend .  In addition, concerned citizens can submit comments to the DEC  through this link; http://www.dec.ny.gov/energy/76838.html [2].
