The Associated General Contractors [3] of New York State is now accepting applications [4] for their undergraduate, graduate and diesel technology scholarship program. The deadline to submit applications is May 15, 2012.
AGC is offering two $1,500 annual scholarships for students studying Diesel Technology.
Applicants must be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year in a two- or four-year college, be pursuing a Bachelor or Associate degree in construction technology, management or civil engineering and committed to a career in the building or highway construction trades.
Students can reapply each year for up to three years of undergraduate study.
Since 1998 the program has awarded nearly $1 million in 448 scholarships to students pursuing Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management and Diesel Technology.
