Scott Jarzombeck, Executive Director of the Pawling Library, joined by members of the Library, Mayor Rob Liffland, Chamber President Peter Cris and Pawling residents, expressed his deep appreciation to Senator Ball on August 24th when presented with a grant for $10,000. The grant will be dedicated to technology upgrades which will enhance the Pawling Library to search more efficiently for information to share with the local community.
“Technology has become one of the most important things we offer to help our community,” said Scott Jarzombek. “But the biggest struggle we faced when looking at this year’s budget was where we would find the money to upgrade old computers. This money really allows us the opportunity to provide the best resources for our community.”
For Senator Ball, providing the local community with better resources for academic achievement is extremely important. “Working with local partners in Pawling, I am so happy that we were able to secure this grant for the Library and I will support them in every way moving forward,” said Senator Greg Ball. “As long as I am in office, I will continue to deliver for my home town of Pawling, and all the towns I represent to bring as much of our tax money back from Albany, home where it belongs.”
In addition to the $10,000 grant for the Pawling Library, Senator Ball has also secured $50,000 for Pawling Little League, $100,000 for Pawling High School and $250,000 for Pawling Village Green.
