Starting July 1st, individuals and businesses will have to pay a 2% State Assessment Fee on top of their monthly utility bills as part of the 2009-10 New York State Budget. In response to the outrageous tax increase on energy, Senator Ranzenhofer is calling upon State leaders to repeal this onerous tax.
